Post‑war Omega Jumbo in steel
Crafted in 1947, this large 38 mm Omega Jumbo reflects post‑war proportions and restrained dial architecture, emphasised by a prominent sub‑seconds and period acrylic crystal. The steel case and refurbished dial preserve the watch’s mid‑century presence while pairing well with a calf leather strap. Powering the piece is the hand‑wound 30T2 PC, a 15‑jewel caliber from Omega’s respected 30 mm family known for straightforward, durable construction. Today such a watch appeals to collectors who value authentic 1940s engineering and a bold vintage wrist presence that integrates easily into modern wear.
