A 1956 Omega dress watch in stainless steel
This Omega ref. 2900-2 dates to circa 1956 and is presented in a 35 mm stainless steel case with period-correct acrylic crystal. The dial retains original, even patina with applied 12-3-9 numerals, recessed small-seconds and dauphine hands, offering a clean, restrained dress-watch aesthetic. Power comes from the manual-wind Cal. 267 (17 jewels), a late member of the 30T2 family associated with Omega’s mid-century technical tradition; the movement serial 1•••• matches the circa-1956 dating. Freshly serviced in 11/2025, it suits a collector who values mid-century design and well-documented mechanical provenance.
