Das Kaliber 2310 war ein beliebtes Chronographenwerk von Lemania.
In den 1940er-Jahren arbeiteten Lemania und Omega gemeinsam an dem Projekt „27 CHRO C12“, um einen Chronographen mit 27 mm Durchmesser und 12-Stunden-Zähler zu entwickeln. Unter der Leitung von Albert Piguet und Jacques Reymond mündete dieses Projekt 1942 in die Markteinführung des Lemania-Kalibers 2310, das von Omega als Kaliber 321 bezeichnet wurde.
Das Kaliber 2310 war ein Säulenradwerk mit einer Schraubenunruh, die mit 18.000 A/h oszillierte. Es besitzt eine markante, „gabelbeinförmige“ Brücke, die es für viele erkennbar macht.
Dieses Uhrwerk wurde von 1957 bis 1965 in der Omega Speedmaster und von 1965 bis 1968 in der Omega Speedmaster Professional verbaut, wo es als „Monduhr“-Uhrwerk Berühmtheit erlangte. Es fand außerdem Verwendung in der Omega DeVille, der Omega Seamaster und in Uhren von Patek Philippe (als Kaliber 2872).
Die Nockenschalt-Familie Lemania 1872 ersetzte ab 1968 die 2310 für die meisten Anwendungen.

I am so happy with this purchase! Communication was super easy with EVW and they negotiated on price. Upon receiving the watch, I was simply stunned. The condition of restoration is incredible. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
