A Refined Longines Admiral from circa 1970
Vintage Longines Admiral reference 8343-1 reflects the restrained design language of circa 1970. Its 34 mm gold-plated round case frames a silver dial with applied markers, gold-tone hands and a date aperture, giving the watch a composed, practical presence. Beneath the acrylic crystal, Longines automatic caliber 505, with 24 jewels, brings mechanical substance to the design. The compact proportions and balanced combination of dress-oriented finishes with everyday date functionality make it an appealing expression of Longines watchmaking from the period.
