Early-1970s Certina DS-2 Character
Produced in 1970–1971, the Vintage DS-2 Automatic reflects Certina’s practical early-1970s approach to the everyday mechanical watch. Its 38 mm steel case gives the model a purposeful presence, while the silver dial, baton markers and restrained date display keep the design clear and balanced. Beneath the acrylic crystal, Certina’s 27-jewel automatic calibre 25-651 provides the mechanical foundation of the watch.
