Why this watch.

A 1970 Omega Chronostop Geneve

Omega Chronostop Geneve Ref. 146.009 reflects the design language of 1970, with proportions and details characteristic of its era. Its 35.0 mm proportions, steel case and original dial create a composed, wearable presence without obscuring the watch’s individual period character. Inside, the manual calibre 920, fitted with 17 jewels provides the technical foundation and connects the watch with Omega’s watchmaking tradition. The calf leather completes a practical configuration suited to regular wear. For a contemporary collector, it offers a considered combination of period design, mechanical interest and everyday usability.
