Why this watch.

WHY THIS WATCH

This watch combines genuine Glashütte horological history with the practicality of modern wristwear. At its heart is the unique 15-jewel Calibre 43 Type 3.2 pocket watch movement, signed Uhrenfabrik Akt. Ges. Glashütte (Sa.) and dating from the late 1920s. Its original gilt dial, hands and movement came from the same pocket watch, preserving an important historical connection. The new 48 mm stainless-steel case transforms these original components into a wearable pocket watch conversion while displaying the beautifully finished movement through an exhibition back. An expressive collector’s piece for enthusiasts who appreciate early Glashütte watchmaking and visible mechanical character.
