Why this watch.

A 1970 Omega Genève

Omega Genève Ref. 135.070 reflects the design language of 1970, with proportions and details characteristic of its era. Its 35.0 mm proportions, gold-plated case and bark-textured original dial create a composed, wearable presence without obscuring the watch’s individual period character. Inside, the manually wound calibre 601, fitted with 17 jewels, provides the technical foundation and connects the watch with Omega’s watchmaking tradition. The calf-leather strap completes a practical configuration suited to regular wear. For a contemporary collector, it offers a considered combination of period design, mechanical interest and everyday usability.
