Why this watch.

Ulysse Nardin Chronometry on the Wrist

This antique pocket watch movement powers a pocket watch conversion in a new case for wristwear. Recorded as dating to 1910–1920, its 19-ligne movement measures approximately 42.9 mm in diameter and is housed in a 47 mm stainless-steel case. The white original dial, signed “Ulysse Nardin Locle & Genève,” uses black Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock for a clear period character. Manual winding and 17 jewels underline the movement’s traditional construction, while the exhibition back invites close appreciation of its mechanics. It offers a direct, wearable encounter with Ulysse Nardin’s historic chronometry tradition.
