This Zenith Automatic, reference 6-66, showcases a compact square design with a striking original dark gray dial. The dial's applied faceted baton hour markers and the distinctive Zenith star logo evoke the strong aesthetic character of the late 1960s. An uncommon angled date window positioned at about 4:30 adds a unique touch, reflective of the era's shift towards modernist and avant-garde designs. The stainless steel case, inscribed with ACIER INOXYDABLE and SWISS MADE, features a crisp geometric shape that distinguishes it from the more typical round Zenith automatics. At the heart of this watch is the in-house Caliber 2542PC, known for its reliability and late 1960s production, running at 21,600 A/h with a power reserve in the low 40-hour range.
