Refund policy

EU buyers have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To start a return, you can contact us at info@e-v-w.com. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods in the event of proven misuse that affects the quality, properties, and functionality of the goods. The item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. You will also need a receipt or proof of purchase. The returning shipping costs are non-refundable.

Customers who do not pick up the parcel will be charged for return shipping.

International buyers are welcome to return their purchase and have a 14-day return policy but it will be the buyer’s responsibility to cover return shipping costs as well as any other customs fees or taxes incurred upon the return. Customs documents must be accurately completed in accordance with the documents that you have received with the watch. The package must be marked as a return. Sender, Item description, the price must be the same as the invoice received from us.

If the customs office determines that the documents do not match with the export documents the consignment will be returned to the sender by the customs office. The return costs are on the buyer's side. Customers who do not pick up the parcel will be charged for the return shipping.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Claims will be possible after they were written damage protocol in the courier's presence. The protocol must be stamped and signed by the delivery courier. Claims will be only possible after they were written "damage protocol".

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Pre-Owned Watch Warranty 
E-V-W guarantees the authenticity of the watches sold on its website. E-V-W provides a 12-month warranty for pre-owned watches purchased without price negotiation. 
Our warranty protects the watch against manufacturing and mechanical defects. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including – but not limited to – cosmetic damage or normal wear to the strap, crystal, or clasp. In addition, the warranty does not cover damage from accidents, mistreatment, the exposure to magnetic fields (magnetic fields are not permanently damaging to your timepiece, but they can affect its accuracy or even stop the watch completely), or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Prior consent from E-V-W is required before a third party can test or work on the watch. The warranty will be invalidated if testing or repairs are done without permission.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning your watch to us and insuring it in transit when you send it back to us for inspection.
E-V-W warranty covering pre-owned watches is non-transferable. Customers receiving their merchandise back will not be reimbursed for any costs associated with customs once it has returned to the customer’s country of residence.

Pre-Owned Watch Warranty For Watches Purchased Within Price Negotiation

Each watch purchased through price negotiation is guaranteed by a 30-days mechanical warranty that we believe to be the most comprehensive in the industry. We stand behind every item we sell, though due to the nature of vintage watches, we expect reasonable treatment of all watches by their owners. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including – but not limited to – cosmetic damage or normal wear to the strap, crystal, or clasp. In addition, the warranty does not cover damage from accidents, mistreatment, the exposure to magnetic fields (magnetic fields are not permanently damaging to your timepiece, but they can affect its accuracy or even stop the watch completely), or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Each watch is known to be working before shipment, though we make no statement about mechanical accuracy or waterproofing.
