A Genevan 3/4-plate from c.1915
This conversion presents a Genevan pocket-watch movement dating to circa 1915, reframed for modern wear in a 43 mm stainless case. The dial follows period styling with a textured centre, bold Arabic numerals and a railroad minute track that complements the movement’s traditional 3/4-plate construction. Mechanically it features a Breguet overcoil, micrometric regulator and a bimetallic balance with 17 jewels—hallmarks of fine early-20th-century manufacture. For the contemporary enthusiast, it offers direct tactile connection to historical watchmaking and an opportunity to enjoy a preserved, serviced movement in everyday use.
