The Wyler Vetta Chronometer from the 1960s stands as a remarkable testament to the brand’s commitment to precision, durability and technical innovation. Its defining feature is the patented Wyler Incaflex balance wheel — an ingenious shock-resistant construction developed with distinctive curved, flexible arms. Instead of transferring the full force of an impact directly to the delicate balance staff pivots, the balance was designed to flex and absorb part of the shock, significantly improving the movement’s resistance to everyday knocks.
This pioneering solution became one of Wyler Vetta’s most recognisable technical achievements and was prominently celebrated in the brand’s period advertising. The Incaflex balance gives this watch considerably greater horological and collector significance than a conventional vintage dress watch.

I am so happy with this purchase! Communication was super easy with EVW and they negotiated on price. Upon receiving the watch, I was simply stunned. The condition of restoration is incredible. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
