Glashütte Spezimatic, 1970s
A finely preserved Spezimatic from Glashütte dating to the 1970s, presented in a 35 mm gold‑plaque cushion case with a vertical‑brushed silver dial and applied black inlay indices. The period acrylic crystal and framed date at 3 retain the watch’s original 1970s character, while a new 18 mm strap modernizes wearability. Powered by the GUB Cal. 75 automatic (26 jewels, ~18,000 vph) recently serviced in 09/2025, this example offers reliable mechanical function rooted in Glashütte’s postwar production tradition. It suits a collector seeking an authentic, wearable piece of GDR-era watchmaking history.
