A 1934 Omega Scarab Art Deco
Omega Scarab Art Deco reflects the design language of 1934, with proportions and details characteristic of its era. Its 31.0 mm proportions, stainless steel (acier staybrite) case, original with vintage patina, two-tone sector-style, arabic numerals and small seconds at 6 dial create a composed, wearable presence without obscuring the watch’s individual period character. Inside, the manual calibre 26.5 SOB T2, fitted with 15 jewels provides the technical foundation and connects the watch with Omega’s watchmaking tradition. The leather strap (modern replacement) completes a practical configuration suited to regular wear. For a contemporary collector, it offers a considered combination of period design, mechanical interest and everyday usability.
