Mid-Century Restraint, Hand-Wound Character
Vintage Omega Classic reference 14391-1 reflects the restrained dress-watch language of circa 1959. Its 34 mm gold-plated case is notably slim at 9 mm, framing a light dial with gold-tone markers and a small-seconds register. Beneath the acrylic crystal, Omega’s hand-wound calibre 268 places the ritual of manual winding at the centre of ownership. The balanced proportions, modest profile and traditional sub-seconds layout make this a thoughtful choice for collectors drawn to mid-century mechanical wristwatches with a composed, wearable presence.
