A Poised OMEGA Dress Watch of the Early 1950s
Vintage OMEGA design from circa 1952 is defined here by measured mid-century proportions and clear, formal dial architecture. The 36 mm steel case combines a polished profile with curved lugs, while gold-tone Arabic numerals and hands stand warmly against the silver-toned dial; subsidiary seconds preserve the period’s practical balance. Beneath the acrylic crystal, OMEGA calibre 266 provides the direct ritual of manual winding in a 17-jewel construction. For a contemporary collector, it is an engaging expression of restrained post-war dress-watch design with a movement that keeps the experience pleasingly tactile.
