A 1949 Longines Art Deco “Piping Case”
Longines Art Deco “Piping Case” reflects the design language of its period, with proportions and details characteristic of its era. Its 26.0 mm proportions, gold platted case and original dial create a composed, wearable presence without obscuring the watch’s individual period character. Inside, the manual calibre 10L, fitted with 17 jewels provides the technical foundation and connects the watch with Longines’s watchmaking tradition. The calf leather strap completes a practical configuration suited to regular wear. For a contemporary collector, it offers a considered combination of period design, mechanical interest and everyday usability.
