Under the Omega-Lemania SSIH umbrella, early-’50s Tissot bumper automatics delivered robust everyday Swiss quality.
Dating & Context Rationale: Caliber 31-1 (early bumper automatic, c.1953–56) + case ref. 6540-1 + “Antimagnetique” script and period logo ⇒ circa 1955 (±2).
SPECIFICATIONS
Movement: Automatic (bumper), Cal. 31-1, 17 jewels, ~19,800 vph, Incabloc.
Movement tested and running well.
Dial: Silvered with applied Arabic numerals and railroad sub-seconds at 6. Professionally restored by a dial specialist using period-correct techniques; crisp black print and even silvering. Gold dauphine hands fills to match.
Case: Stainless steel with screw-back (6540-1).
Size: 35 mm (without crown) — Lug width: 18 mm — Lug-to-lug: ~43 mm.
Crystal/Crown: Domed acrylic crystal; unsigned, period-correct crown.
Strap/Bracelet: New olive canvas/NATO, 18 mm — shown on an 18 cm (7.08 in) wrist.
Water-Tightness: Splash Water Resistant (handwashing ok, not showering).

I am so happy with this purchase! Communication was super easy with EVW and they negotiated on price. Upon receiving the watch, I was simply stunned. The condition of restoration is incredible. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
