A Converted Omega from 1965
This oversized marriage watch pairs a mid-1960s Omega pocket movement with a modern stainless steel exhibition case, presenting its original white porcelain enamel dial and Roman numerals with elegant clarity. The hand-wound Caliber 962, serial 2208••••, speaks to Swiss watchmaking traditions of robust, precise mechanics, here visible through the transparent caseback. Recently serviced (10-12-2025) and fitted to a 22 mm leather strap, the piece offers wearable historical character for a collector who appreciates movement provenance, classic enamel aesthetics, and the tactile presence of a repurposed pocket-watch caliber.
