El Breitling Chronograph Referencia 178 es un testimonio de la línea de cronógrafos manuales de dos registros temprana de la marca, mostrando un diseño de la era de movilización indicativo de su producción alrededor de 1945. Este reloj vintage presenta la esfera original plateada multiescala con números arábigos y agujas de jeringa. Las pronunciadas manchas de la edad y el oscurecimiento de la esfera añaden carácter a su pátina honesta, manteniendo la legibilidad. El formato clásico de registros a las 12 y 6, con un contador de 45 minutos a las 12 y segundos en curso a las 6, se alinea con la arquitectura correcta del movimiento Venus 170.
La caja de acero de 35 mm, junto con un tramo de 42 mm de orejeta a orejeta, pulsadores rectangulares del cronógrafo y una corona firmada por Breitling, refleja la estética compacta del cronógrafo de Breitling de mediados de la década de 1940. El cristal acrílico es correcto para el período y el reloj se complementa con una correa de cuero de becerro marrón. Representando el lenguaje de cronógrafos pre-Navitimer de Breitling, esta pieza encarna los cronógrafos deportivos de la marca definidos por cajas compactas, esferas multiescala y movimientos manuales de rueda de pilares.

The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
