IWC Schaffhausen, circa 1930
This IWC Schaffhausen originates from the era around 1930 and has been converted from a pocket movement into a wearable wristwatch. The modern stainless steel case with an exhibition back and a mineral crystal houses a refurbished dial with period-correct Roman numerals, mounted on a calf leather strap. At its heart is the manual-wind Caliber 74, an early IWC movement whose provenance is corroborated by internal serial records. The combination of historical movement, visible finishing and contemporary case presentation offers a tactile link between early 20th-century watchmaking and present-day wearability for the discerning collector.
