Omega Tank, circa 1940s — Art Deco wristwatch
This Omega Tank dates to the mobilization era of the 1940s and carries a concise, rectangular Art Deco presence. The original dial, with bold Arabic numerals, a railway minute track and a small seconds register, communicates the period’s restrained geometry and purpose-built legibility. Inside sits the T17 manual-wind caliber, finished to Omega’s standards of the time and supplied with 15 jewels, a dependable hand-wound movement. As a wearable piece of mid-century design and mechanical watchmaking, it offers a direct link to historical craftsmanship that appeals to collectors who value provenance, design integrity and everyday wearability.
