This is a domestically produced Czechoslovak PRIM with the earlier small-seconds layout rather than the later central-seconds format that became more common in the brand's later manual-wind lines. The visible TYP 0121 marking and the dial layout match each other well: subsidiary seconds at 6 and a date window at 3. Within PRIM nomenclature, this is the date version of the early NH-family architecture that was later renumbered as caliber 52. The watch has a clean, restrained dress-watch design with a two-tone sector-style dial, applied gold-tone batons, dauphine hands, and a framed date aperture with red date numerals. That combination gives it a distinctly early-to-mid-1960s look. The steel case is a useful detail. Many period PRIM dress watches were cased in plated base metal, so an all-steel example is a sturdier and more collector-friendly configuration. The movement finishing is practical and characteristic of mid-century PRIM production, with a plainly brushed layout and signed ratchet wheel. The movement remains visually consistent with the brand's domestic Czechoslovak production period.
