この85年前のワイラースーペリアタンクは、1930年代にタウバートボーゲルによって設計された特許取得済みの「クラムシェル」防水ケースが特徴です。これは、長方形のドレスウォッチ向けに設計された最初の真に防水性の高いデザインの1つで、BREV.DEM.の刻印があります。これはフランス語でbrevet demandé（特許出願中）の略です。スイスのメーカーは1930年代から40年代にかけて、デザインが出願されているがまだ承認されていないことを示すためにこの刻印をしました。承認後には、BREV. DEP.またはBREVETÉと特許番号が記載されていることがよくあります。文字盤の書体、「Acier Inoxydable」と刻印された4本ネジのスチールケース、全体的なデザインから、これは1940年代のものと考えられます。ケースバックのNo.66426はケースコードです。当時の特徴と刻印は、ワイラーのミッドセンチュリーの「スーペリア」ラインと一致しています。

I am so happy with this purchase! Communication was super easy with EVW and they negotiated on price. Upon receiving the watch, I was simply stunned. The condition of restoration is incredible. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
