De Atlantic Automatic is een tijdloze belichaming van de Zwitserse horlogemakerij uit het midden van de 20e eeuw. Dit exquise uurwerk, geproduceerd rond de jaren 60, is een bewijs van de toewijding van die tijd aan precisie en elegantie, een feit dat wordt bevestigd door interne seriële tabellen van het uurwerk. De kern wordt gevormd door het gewaardeerde kaliber 1716-17, een uurwerk dat bekend staat om zijn betrouwbaarheid en de aanwezigheid van 25 jewels, wat de mechanische finesse onderstreept.
Het ontwerp van de Atlantic Automatic wordt gekenmerkt door een minimalistische maar functionele esthetiek, met een datumvenster dat gemak toevoegt zonder afbreuk te doen aan de stijl. De roestvrijstalen kast en het acrylglas weerspiegelen de robuuste constructietechnieken van die tijd. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
