Omega Jumbo: Generous Mid-Century Proportions
Vintage Omega Jumbo reference 2505-10 reflects a confident scale for circa 1947. Its 38.5 mm steel case is balanced by a slim 9 mm profile, domed acrylic crystal and an orderly dial layout of applied Arabic numerals with small seconds. The manually wound calibre 265 brings a direct, traditional mechanical character to the design. For today’s collector, the appeal lies in the meeting of generous proportions, restrained period detailing and a hand-wound Omega movement in a watch that remains easy to wear.
