„OLIW“ (Original Lange Internationales Werk) je fascinujúcou kapitolou v histórii spoločnosti Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation (Glashütte) . Tieto strojčeky, vyrobené okolo roku 1938, sú dnes mimoriadne vzácne. Historické záznamy ukazujú, že bolo vyrobených iba približne 6 500 kusov , vďaka čomu sú tieto hodinky výrazne vzácnejšie ako štandardné produkčné modely z tej doby. Predstavujú robustné a precízne nemecké inžinierstvo z konca 30. rokov 20. storočia.

I am so happy with this purchase! Communication was super easy with EVW and they negotiated on price. Upon receiving the watch, I was simply stunned. The condition of restoration is incredible. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
