Longines Ultronic, 1976
A 1970s Longines Ultronic in a 37 mm angular tonneau case, this example pairs crisp period geometry with a silver sunburst dial and framed date at 3. Its mineral crystal and signed crown reflect straightforward daily wearability, while the aftermarket steel bracelet keeps the aesthetic contemporary. Under the case sits the Longines cal. 6312 (ESA 9162) tuning-fork movement — a 12-jewel, ~300 Hz early-electronic calibre — offering that characteristic humming sweep. For a collector today it represents a refined expression of Longines’ early electronic era, blending technical interest with wearable 1970s design.
