Breitling chronograph from the 1940s
This Breitling Chronograph, dated to circa the 1940s, exemplifies the restrained, functional elegance of wartime design with its original dial and steel case. At 35 mm with a 42 mm lug-to-lug and an acrylic crystal, the proportions remain faithful to the period. The movement is the hand-wound Venus 170, a 17-jewel calibre noted for dependable chronograph performance. Recently serviced, the watch is ready to wear, offering collectors a historically representative wristwatch that highlights mid-century construction and mechanical character without modern alteration.
