An Early Omega in Purposeful Form
Dating to circa 1926, this Antique Omega reflects the direct, functional design language of an early mechanical wristwatch. Its steel case frames an original dial defined by oversized Arabic numerals, a red minute scale and small seconds, while the blue hands provide a measured contrast. Within, the manual-wind 15-jewel 26.5 SOB T2 movement gives the watch a tangible connection to Omega’s mechanical watchmaking. For the contemporary collector, it is an appealing meeting of compact proportions, legible period styling and a movement made to be appreciated by hand.
