Late-1960s Geometry, Manually Wound
A vintage Omega Genève from circa 1969, reference 131.022 reflects the period’s interest in crisp geometry and restrained dress-watch proportions. Its 31 mm steel case and square cream dial give the watch a distinct silhouette, softened by slim applied hour markers and an acrylic crystal. Inside, the hand-wound calibre 601 brings the focus back to Omega’s practical, compact mechanical watchmaking. For today’s collector, the appeal lies in this balanced meeting of late-1960s form, manual interaction, and an understated Genève presentation.
