A Gilded Omega Pocket Movement Reborn
This piece unites an early 20th-century Omega caliber 19LB movement, dated circa 1923, with contemporary wristwatch proportions. The original pocket movement is presented in a larger 48 mm stainless case with a transparent exhibition back and a professionally restored dial, balancing period character with modern readability. The manual 15-jewel caliber reflects Omega’s craftsmanship of the era, serviced and documented for mechanical integrity. For today’s collector, the watch offers a tactile connection to vintage watchmaking—an engineered historical movement housed in a wearable, thoughtfully executed conversion.
