This manual Breitling with cal.1113, Incabloc and a gold-plated case is characteristic of the brand’s mid-1950s dress output. The Arabic numeral dial, slim bezel and FOND ACIER steel back all point to a 1950s production window.
Reference 285-24 with the internal “28” stamping is consistent with period Breitling case codes, and the untouched dial plus signed crown make this a comparatively scarce survivor among the brand’s understated mid-century pieces.

I am so happy with this purchase! Communication was super easy with EVW and they negotiated on price. Upon receiving the watch, I was simply stunned. The condition of restoration is incredible. The gold case is flawless, the case back is perfect, and the dial has only 1 small imperfection (pictured in listing, expected). For a watch from 1982, this is amazing. The Caliber 1110 movement is working very smoothly. The quick-set date is great, and the power reserve is too.
