Mid-Century Clarity in Steel
Dating to the mid-1950s, this Atlantic Varldsmastarur reflects an era when compact steel wristwatches balanced practical proportions with purposeful dial design. Its 36 mm case frames a striking white and navy composition, whose numbered outer scale lends the watch a distinctly graphic character beneath acrylic crystal. The hand-wound AS1188 movement, fitted with 17 jewels, keeps the experience pleasingly direct and mechanical. For today’s collector, it is an engaging expression of mid-century Atlantic: concise in scale, visually distinctive, and defined by the ritual of manual winding.
