Classic Calatrava-style Longines dress watch in a 14ct gold case with a simple, balanced dial and small seconds at 6, matching the movement layout of the 12.68Z family. Dial details visible in the photos include applied-style Arabic numerals with contrasting inlay, triangular hour markers, a fine minute track, and a recessed small-seconds register. Gold-tone dauphine hands reinforce the mid-century dress aesthetic. The Longines caliber 12.68Z is a well-documented, robust hand-wound movement family used widely by Longines across the late interwar and postwar years. Typical published specifications list 17 jewels and a traditional small-seconds architecture for the Z version. The case construction shown includes an inner dust cover, and the case serial is recorded as 5632•••• (masked). Movement serial remains the primary dating reference for this era. Recorded service date is 23-01-2026, which is helpful context for ownership and usability. Strap appears to be a later replacement leather strap based on modern underside stamps.
