Vintage Omega & Mechanical Watch Servicing
At E‑V‑W, we service and carefully restore mechanical vintage watches, with particular experience in vintage Omega watches. Each timepiece is assessed individually because its calibre, condition, previous interventions and the availability of suitable parts all influence the work required.
Our service is intended for mechanical watches. We do not service quartz watches.

Assessment before intervention
We begin with an inspection and diagnosis. This allows us to recommend only the work the watch actually needs and to identify any limitations before servicing begins.
What a complete mechanical service may include
- Disassembly of the watch and movement
- Cleaning, inspection, reassembly and lubrication of the movement
- Replacement of worn components where necessary and where suitable parts are available
- Careful cleaning of the case and metal bracelet, when appropriate
- Regulation, functional testing and final quality control
The exact scope is confirmed after inspection. Any additional work or parts are discussed before proceeding.
Preservation-led restoration
A vintage watch should retain its character. We favour conservation over unnecessary cosmetic alteration. Case polishing, dial refinishing and the replacement of visible components are never automatic; any such work is considered individually and agreed in advance.
Individual quotation
We do not use a fixed price list. The cost depends on the movement, its condition, the complexity of the work and parts availability. After the watch has been assessed, you will receive an individual scope of work and quotation before any chargeable repair is authorised.
Request a service assessment
- Send us the brand and model, clear photographs and a brief description of the issue. If known, include the calibre and previous service history.
- We will confirm whether the watch is suitable for assessment and explain the next step.
- Following inspection, we will provide an individual recommendation and quotation.
