It is powered by the manually wound Longines Caliber 27 M, a traditional in-house movement associated with the brand’s highly regarded mid-century production.
The defining feature of this example is its exceptionally distinctive set of sculpted “Fancy Curved Lugs,” often described by collectors as flame-style lugs. Instead of conventional straight horns, each solid lug rises dramatically from the round case and curves outward in a deeply fluted, twin-ridged form, creating the visual impression of a stylized flame. Their elaborate three-dimensional construction gives the watch a noticeably stronger wrist presence and transforms an otherwise classical round case into a highly individual and immediately recognizable design.
