This over 80 years old Wartime Universal Genève carries the coveted “Sei Tacche” six-notch screw-back case by François Borgel/Taubert—the legendary casemaker behind Patek’s waterproof refs 1463 and 565, a hallmark of UG’s early-1940s tool watches. Available in our shop. Case serial 1110xxxx (full number in buyer’s documentation) and UG’s period ref. format point to the 1940s, matching cal. 267 (17j/18,000 A/h) and the ‘sei tacche’ screw-back. Born in the shadow of war—pared-back.
