During World War II, Omega gained valuable industrial experience while supplying the British Ministry of War with military watches made to rigorous specifications. This new generation of military watches enabled Omega to launch the Seamaster collection in the aftermath of the war, making the 1948 model one of the most innovative watches of all time.

MOVEMENT: Automatic self-winding high grade cal. 562 based on 24 Jewels and 19800 A/h vibrations per hour. Date quickset by changing 21-24h.

SERVICE: All of our watches are checked regularly for function, time deviation as well as “suitability for daily use”. They are serviced by our watchmaker, as needed. They are sold “ready to wear”

DIAL: The complete dial was freshly refurbished with good care by a dial specialist using state-of-the-art reprinting and refurbishment techniques.
