1947 Omega with Bumper Calibre
A restrained post-war wristwatch from Omega dated 1947, presented here under reference F.6212. The design roots are visible in its era-appropriate proportions and the noted contribution of designer Cherles Perregaux, who is credited in the description. Mechanically it is driven by the 28.10RA automatic bumper calibre, an approach to self-winding that speaks to mid-20th-century technical solutions. For the contemporary collector this piece offers a direct link to 1940s watchmaking aesthetics and mechanical character, useful for study, wear, or inclusion in a era-focused collection.
