Omega Ref. 2400-1 — 1944
A World War II–era Omega presented in the 2400-1 case, dated 1944, speaks to mid-20th century watch design: restrained proportions and purposeful construction. Under the dial sits the Cal. 30T2 PC, noted for being the first 30 mm Omega movement fitted with Incabloc shock protection and an antimagnetic mono-metallic balance, and typically signed 30T2PC on the base plate. For the contemporary collector, this watch offers an authentic mechanical experience and a clear link to Omega’s technical developments of the 1940s, making it a wearable piece of horological history.
