Launched in 1933, Omega’s 26.5 SOB T2 powered many of the brand’s elegant pre-war sector-dial “Calatrava-style” pieces—an inter-war cornerstone that predates the famed 30 mm family. Manual-wind Omega cal. 26.5 SOB T2 (15j, 18,000 A/h). The inside-case “FAB. SUISSE” stamp marks this late-1930s Omega 26.5 SOB T2 as a French-market piece made to meet pre-war import-label laws—an uncommon export marking prized by collectors. Movement no. 89xxxxx dates the watch to 1939 by Omega serial tables. Dial was professionally restored; case is Staybrite steel with snap back. Fresh full service 10/2025 with certificate.
