Early-Seventies Genève Clarity
Vintage Omega Genève reference ST 166.0163 dates to circa 1973, a concise expression of the brand’s early-seventies automatic era. Its blue dial brings applied baton indexes, central seconds and a neatly framed date at 3 o’clock into a balanced, legible composition. Beneath the acrylic crystal, Omega calibre 1012 provides automatic winding, 23 jewels and a quick-set date—practical engineering introduced in 1972. The compact stainless-steel case and restrained dial design make this Genève an appealing study in Omega’s refined everyday watchmaking of the period.
