Vintage Zenith Automatic GR 720001 belongs to the brand’s early-1970s mechanical era, produced between 1972–1975. Its calibre 2562 PC is a 23-jewel automatic movement with central seconds and date, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The broad 36 mm steel case has the assured proportions of its decade, while the champagne dial, applied baton indexes and angled date window introduce a more refined counterpoint. An acrylic crystal completes the period construction. For today’s collector, it is a compelling meeting of disciplined Zenith mechanics and distinctly 1970s design.
